finding poetry in the water cycle...

the water cycle:

evaporation in falling
evaporation from trees and plants
evaporation from ponds and lakes
evaporation from the soil
evaporation from streams
evaporation from the ocean

the fall of rain and snow

surface
runoff
ocean
storage
ground
surface

some water is used by plants
some filters unused through the soil
some feed streams
some seeps directly into the ocean

transpiration
from the trees
and plants
temporary storage
in ponds and lakes

infiltration -
water seeping into the earth.

Great stuff. Bizarrely I found this posting while musing on whether I could somehow incorporate some concrete poetry into the design for a new shower in our house (anything to distract me from the tedium of actually choosing a functional shower unit). This reminded me of some recent Colin Sackett books - I see he's in your links already.
