(nice to know the days of the week in 2009 are the same as they were in 1925, although i hope you find something worth recording today...)

Richard Hughes, who wrote High Wind in Jamaica, wrote a book called The Spider's Palace, stories based how surreally children see things. One of them is called "Nothing", and involves a table set with extremely strange things and people and Nothing, which figures as a central character/object. I think you would like the book.

oh, high wind is one of my favorite books!!! i will definitely look for the spider's palace - which sounds like the title of a drawing you might make...

I just got a used violin bow and have been playing my cymbal and singing bowls. I would record it and the snow falling once I get my microphone ..
