stones...
with different kinds of stones i knock open
the locks of snail shells that none
of my keys fit.
and the word i find in the form of a drop
or a bubble's fragile shape,
not in running water.
stones have their roots within themselves:
thin threads of heaviness twisted tight
into indissoluble knots.
