Oh, the photo is magnificent.
I hope you don't mind a pop culture association (I have been told off for this on another blog) but I'm thinking of the old R.E.M. song "Driver 8"

and

while i must admit i'm not a fan, never have been, i would never tell anyone off for making a pop culture association (how can a blogger be so lame as to tell a commenter off for such a thing... isn't the generating of conversation supposed to be the purpose of a blog!)- the beauty of most associations that are worthwhile is that they bring the unexpectedly uncomfortable together! plus how could i tell you off for the "sky blue bells ringing", regardless of my inability to appreciate the band and the voice, the words out of context are pretty darn nice...
Heh, re the voice, I guess it sounds either plangent or whiny, depending...
