Any idea who the gentleman is? It looks like a movie star (or at least a music star) photograph.

yeah, its a pro photo by harold stein , and the back says in pencil "vincent lopez". looking on line it seems he had a big band for almost 50 years and was one of the first big bands to record on record as well as to broadcast live on radio - supposedly more of a sweet sound like guy lombardo in the 20's. for more see: http://www.bigbandlibrary.com/vincentlopez.html."and a little web snooping also uncovered the mystery of the small piano: "Wednesdays through Fridays, Vincent had everybody howling at the Hotel Taft's Grill Room in New York City with his "Shake the Maracas" show. People came from miles around to participate and compete for miniature piano lighters and a set of maracas ".
